MBA students from the School of Management, MIET, visited the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, a leading manufacturing unit under Indian Railways. This experiential learning initiative helped bridge the gap between classroom concepts and real-world applications.
Accompanied by Dr. Manik Arora and Dr. Amanpreet Kour, students from the 2nd and 4th semesters participated in a guided tour led by Mr. Manoj Singh, Factory Supervisor. They observed the real-time production of coaches for premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Vande Bharat, Tejas, and EMU/DMU coaches, gaining valuable insights into manufacturing processes and operational efficiencies.
This visit provided hands-on industry exposure, reinforcing theoretical knowledge with practical insights, preparing students for future professional challenges.
