Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Prof. S. K Sharma, AVSM, is the Director Academics at MIET. He has over 42 years and 2 months of rich management and leadership experience in the Indian Army. He holds a MS degree in Automation from IISc, Bengaluru and an MBA from Osmania University besides another PG Specialization in Communication from MCEME, Secundrabad.

Prof. Ashok Kumar has over 21 years of experience in industry, academics, research and academic administration. He did his Doctorate from IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar; Master of Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and Bachelor’s degree from NIT, Calicut, Kerala. He is Fellow of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). He has worked as Campus Director & Professor at Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, Kala Amb, HP, he has also worked with Ambala College of Engineering & Applied Research, Devsthali, Ambala, Haryana and Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri, Haryana in the capacity of Dean and Head of the Department. He also headed Centre for Research in Electronics Engineering (CREE) at Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research, Ambala.

Ms. Surbhi Sharma has around 9 years of experience in academics and academic Administration. She did her graduation from Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), Jammu University in the year 2005 and afterwards she post-graduated from Thapar University, Patiala in 2008. She started her career in academics as Assistant Professor in2009 at University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), Punjab University Chandigarh and served as faculty for three and half years in the department of ECE. She shifted to Jammu in 2013 and started working as Assistant Professor at Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET). She was awarded with “ISTE Best Faculty Award 2016”.

Dr. Suhaib Ahmed Batt received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Jammu, India in 2012, M. Tech and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, India, in 2014 and 2019 respectively. He has also qualified GATE, UGC-NET and JKSET examinations. His research interests include quantum-dot cellular automata, nano-electronics, VLSI, data converters, nanotechnology, wireless sensor networks, IoT, AI/ML, bioelectronics, and signal processing. Dr. Batt is an active member of IEEE, Life Member of IETE, ISTE and Computer Society of India. He has published around 90 research papers in reputed peer reviewed journals of IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, etc. and in various international/national conferences.

Dr. Sarabdeep Singh has around 10 years of experience in academics and research. He has received his Ph. D. from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, MTech in VLSI design from CDAC Mohali and B.E. in Electronics & Comm. Eng. from MBSCET, Jammu. He served at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, Mohali as Assistant Professor for around 5 years in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. His current research interests are Microelectronics, Sensors, and Semiconductor devices focusing on Nanowire FETs, IMOS FETs and Negative-Capacitance FETs. He has, to his credit, over twenty research papers published in national and international journals, indexed in SCI/SCOPUS and conference proceedings.

Ms. Gurpreet Kour has over 10 years of work experience in Academia. She did her graduation from Kurukshetra University in year 2002 and post-graduation from Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur.She started her career in academics as lecturer at Government College of Engineering and Technology,Jammu (GCET) and presently working as Assistant professor at MIET. Her research interests are in communication systems, analog and digital electronics

Ms. Gurpreet Raina has around more than 14 years of experience in the field of academics and industry. She received her B.E Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology (Jammu University), Jammu in 2005, and also received a BCA Degree from IGNOU in 2003. She received her M.E Degree in Electronics and Communication from the Punjab University. She has to her credit over 8 papers that are published in reputed International journals and conferences, and indexed in Scopus/IEEE proceedings.
Her area of research interests are Wireless communications, Antenna designing, and IOT.

Ms. Shiveta Bhat has around 2 years and 10 months of experience in academics. She did her graduation from Swami Devi Dayal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SDDIET), Kurukshetra University in the year 2015 and afterwards she post-graduated from Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. She started her career in academics in Chitkara University. She shifted to Jammu in 2019 and started working as Assistant Professor at Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET). Her research interest areas are image processing. She has attended many workshops, conferences and symposiums and has 4 research papers published in journals and conferences.
